3 · General Information on Data Processing
We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our content, or where you have given consent. The legal bases are in particular Art. 6(1)(a) (consent), (b) (contract / pre-contractual measures) and (f) (legitimate interest) GDPR.
4 · Data Retention and Storage Period
We process and store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the respective processing purpose or as required by statutory retention periods (in particular commercial and tax law obligations). Once the purpose no longer applies or a retention period expires, the data are routinely deleted or restricted. The principles of data minimisation (Art. 5(1)(c) GDPR) and storage limitation (Art. 5(1)(e) GDPR) apply.
5 · Hosting
This website is hosted by Webflow, Inc., 398 11th Street, 2nd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA (delivered via its content delivery network). When the site is accessed, technically necessary data (in particular IP address, time, requested resource) are processed in order to provide the website securely and reliably. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Webflow. As Webflow is a US provider, a third-country transfer to the USA may occur; this is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
6 · Server Log Files
Each time the site is accessed, the provider automatically collects information (browser type/version, operating system, referrer URL, host name, time, IP address). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (secure, stable operation). These log data are not merged with other data sources and are deleted after no more than 30 days.
7 · Cookies & Consent Management
Details on the cookies used and consent: Cookies. Non-essential cookies are only set after consent (§ 25 (1) TDDDG).
8 · Web Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; parent company Google LLC, USA), for statistical reach measurement. GA4 uses cookies or comparable technologies and processes, among other things, truncated IP addresses, device and usage data. Processing takes place exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG), which you give via our consent banner and can withdraw at any time with effect for the future. For data transfers to the USA, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework / Standard Contractual Clauses apply. If no statistics cookies are set, no analysis takes place.
9 · Contacting Us
If you contact us by email (info@vemcom.com), your information is processed to handle the request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Data are deleted as soon as they are no longer required, subject to statutory retention obligations.
10 · Embedded Third-Party Content
Location map. We display our location using an interactive map via Mapbox GL JS (a service of Mapbox, Inc., 740 15th Street NW, 5th Floor, Washington, DC 20005, USA). The map loads only after your consent (via our Cookiebot banner, statistics category); when it loads, map tiles and program code are retrieved from Mapbox servers and your IP address is transmitted to Mapbox (possible third-country transfer to the USA, based on Standard Contractual Clauses / DPF). Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). If you do not consent, the map is not loaded and no data is transmitted to Mapbox.
Fonts. The fonts used (Soleil, Epilogue) are served directly via Webflow hosting; no additional retrieval from external font servers (e.g. Google Fonts, Adobe Fonts) takes place.
No social media plugins/videos. The website does not include any active social media plugins, like buttons or embedded videos that transmit data to third parties when the page is accessed. Links (e.g. to LinkedIn) are pure hyperlinks without data transmission on load.
11 · External Links
Our website contains links to external third-party websites over whose content we have no influence. The respective provider or operator is always responsible for the content of these external sites. When you click an external link, your IP address is transmitted to the operator of the target site; we have no influence on the data processing there. The privacy policy of the respective linked website applies.
12 · Recipients / Group
Data are only disclosed where necessary (e.g. to processors). Within the Voltatron Group, enquiries may be forwarded to the responsible group or sister company insofar as this serves to handle your request.
13 · Your Rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21), as well as the right to withdraw consent granted at any time (Art. 7(3)). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77). For VEMCOM (registered office Fürth, Bavaria), the competent authority is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht, BayLDA).
